CALVERT, John (1911-2013). Carving from John Calvert’s Yacht, Presented to the Goulets. Wooden carving salvaged from Calvert’s yacht the Golden Dragon, with a presentation inscription to Ray and Ann Goulet on the verso by Calvert, dated 1988, stating that the panel was salvaged “from the wreck of the Golden Dragon off the coast of India near Madras, 1963. This is a solid teak carving made in Singapore.” Additionally inscribed and signed by Calvert’s wife, Tammy, to Ann and Ray. Set in a wooden frame with gilt plaques, overall 16 ½ x 24”.
