Silk and Water Vase. Philadelphia: Carl Brema and Sons, 1925. Spun vase with Grecian handles. Water is emptied from the vase; it refills repeatedly. Then, dry silk handkerchiefs of three different colors are produced from within. Three silk compartments. Height 12" high. Hallmarked. Tarnished; good. RARE. A photograph of Floyd Thayer in his workshop showing an identical vase in the background was the only evidence used to identify other examples of this prop we have encountered until a hallmarked example was discovered in 2022.
