GOLDSTON, Will (Wolf Goldstone, 1878 – 1948). Large Archive of Goldston Letters and Ephemera. 1910s – 40s, and including approximately 36 TLSs from Goldston, most to G. Sturgess, Esq. of Loughborough, a customer of Goldston's firm who is building an act based around fans (with the correspondence related to the construction of various elements of the act), with a few other addressees including John Mulholland, Carl Rosini, and Williard Smith. Accompanied by advertising leaflets, a prospectus for one of Goldston's publications, a Goldston Christmas card, photographic postcard, pencil sketches for an illusion using a giant feathered fan, clippings, and more. Most items 4tos, with most letters SIGNED in ink by Goldston. A large and impressive grouping.
